Alison's birthday

Our London trip was successful. Tights and shoes successfully purchased for Gracie and plenty of time to spare. 

Any was brilliant with the children and took us on a guided tour so they could see the Houses of Parliament. We then walked beside the river and the children found Cleopatra's Needle. 

Wetherspoons for tea and then a good journey home. 

To celebrate Alison's birthday we all went to Kinver on a Hanson's bus. Margaret Hanson had made a special deal for us of £7 for a family ticket and it worked a treat. We will use them again :-). 

We walked over Kinver Edge, here are the pictures from the top of Nanny's Rock. 

We had a great picnic under a tree, then we went to Wilsons and ordered our new bed settee for Magpie II. A nene settee with diamond wheat coloured fabric. Expected some time in September. A quick canal walk followed and then ice creams waiting for the return bus. We also managed to buy KM some wedding shoes whilst changing busses at Merry Hell. A good day all round.
