We've got to New York

We have spent most of today travelling. 

We left our hotel at 8:30 this morning and it is now 10:00 New York time which is 3:00 AM uk time. 

We decided to get a bus to the airport so made our way to the bus stop, waited for on, boarded it, got off, went back the way we had come, found a shop wher we spent £12.90 on two Oyster cards and two single fares, walked back to the bus stop and caught the next bus. Apparently London buses only accept Oyster cards. We only had sterling. 

Check in went well but disaster, no wetherspoons for breakfast. 

We were well supplied with beer on the plane and touched down on time. 

It took us two hours to get through the passport control at JFK airport. 

We got some lovely views from the coach to our hotel,

And managed to get some supper. 

The pizza was delicious. 

We also bought a box is Samuel Adams beers and got a $6 reduction by joining the stores loyalty card programme. Fiscal policy won out :-).
