The end of the track.

This morning it was goodbye to our overnight home on the water and hello to our last train. 

We arrived at Union Station in LA nice and early so therefore had time for our first American Starbucks. 

It is another lovely station. 

The train left on time at 10:10, but now (19:38) it is running an hour late. 

We got some lovely views of the Pacific. 

First break came at Santa Barbara. 

We had another break at San Luis Obispo. 

Other than that we have just sat and watched the world go by. 

California is very brown. 

We have reduced the weight in our bags by eating the food we bought last night

 

and drinking the beer. 

We are looking forward to seeing San Francisco tomorrow, and can't wait to get to the hotel tonight.
